MEET YOUR NEW WARD COUNCILLORS – KAE NEWS

As reported by this publication on Thursday, the African National Congress (ANC) managed to retain all the Wards in Kaalfontein, Ebony Park, Ivory Park and Rabie Ridge.

The areas will have ANC Councillors for another 5 years. The wards of KAE are Ward 77, 78, 79, 80, 92, 111 and 133. Out of the 7 councillors, 3 have been re-elected while 4 are brand new councillors.

Ward 77:
Cllr Yoliswa TwalaContact Number: 0825506192Twala has been re-elected.Ward 77 covers Ivory Park sections: Ext 9, 12 & 13 Thulani Section, Chris Hani, OR Thambo Settlement, Dimpho Hani Section, Rolihlahla Section, Albert Luthuli Section, Ebuhleni Section, Lethabong Section.The ANC won the Ward with 5,644 votes (56,27%).

Voting Districts are Ivory Park Secondary School, Ebomini School, Mpumelelo Clinic and Mikayeka Primary School.

Ward 78
Cllr Stephen MakamoContact Number: 0760858963Makamo has been re-elected.Ward 78 covers Ivory Park Ext 5, 6 & 8, Limpopo Section, Ramaphosa Section, Sakhile Section, Moses Kotane Section, Tokyo Section, Mafelandawonye Section 2, Jacob Zuma Section, Mpumalanga SectionThe ANC won the Ward with 6,162 (60,91%) of the votes.

Voting Districts are Bonwelong Primary School, Ivory Park Community Hall, Gospel Church, Mynhardt Hall.

Ward 79
Cllr Thompson MalulekaContact Number: 0824219402Maluleka has been re-elected.Ward 79 includes Ivory Park, Mafelandawonye 1 & 3, Baghdad, Lusaka Kwa Green 1, 2 & 3, Lindelani, Park Section, Mbona Section, KwaKhosa, KwaEveline, KwaRonie, Thabo MbekiThe ANC won the Ward with 5,568 (52,24%) of the votes.

Voting Districts are Eqinisweni Secondary School, Ivory Park Primary School, Vukuzenzele Creche, Ikageng Educare Centre.

Ward 80
Cllr Sebenzile Hlatshwayo replaces Cllr. Makgoba Pagadi.Contact Number: N/AWard 80 covers Rabie Ridge Ext 1, 4 & 5 New Hani Section, Chris Hani Informal Settlement, Sophia Town Informal Settlement, K60 Informal Settlement – A, B & C, Mountain View, Kanana.The ANC retained the Ward with 5,863 (52,37%) of the votes.

Voting Districts are Kanana Community Hall, Kanana School, Emmanuel Revival Church.

Ward 92
Cllr Charmaine Ngoepe replaces Cllr Violet Chauke.Contact Number: N/AWard 92 ncludes Kaalfontein 4b, 7b, 22, 23 & 25, Allandale, Randjesfontein, Randjespark, Halfway House Estates , Halfway House, Glen AustinThe ANC won the Ward with 4,980 (40,27%) of the votes.

Voting Districts are Drake Koka Primary School, Kaalfontein Primary, Randjesfontein and Country View.

Ward 111Cllr Nontutuzela Supe replaces Cllr Raisibe Matsemela.Contact Number: N/AWard 111 covers the areas of Ebony Park Ext 2,3,4,5,6, Kaalfontein Extension 1, 4a and 7a, and Ivory Park Extension 10The ANC won the Ward with 5,165 (52,6%) votes.

Voting Districts are Ebony Park Primary School, Umqhele Comprehensive School and Ponelopele Oracle Secondary School.

Ward 133
Cllr Teboho Marumo replaces Cllr Julia Gololo.Contact Number: N/AWard 133 is in Sections of Ivory Park Ext. 8,9,10 and 12The ANC retained the Ward with 5,915 (61,47%) of the votes.

Voting Districts are Full Gospel Church, Ivory Park North Hall,Healing Ministry Church and Apostles & Christian Brethren Church.
