JMPD REMOVES ILLEGAL STRUCTURES IN MIDRAND – KAE NEWS

Members of the Johannesburg Metropolitan Department (JMPD) conducted an Anti Land Invasion joint operation near Dale Road, Midrand on Wednesday, 23 February 2022.

The land that had been illegally invaded is near the Midrand SPCA and Eskom College in Glen Austin.

Officials recently removed demarcations that were made by invaders on the 22nd of January 2022.

JMPD Members were accompanied by a private security contractor. Unoccupied illegal structures were removed and demolished.

JMPD established a land invasion hotline in 2018. The hotline is 0800120555 and operates for 24 hours a day, every day.
